Certain sensitive personal data — such as bank account details or payment instrument information required to process the scholarship application fee — is collected only with your consent and in accordance with applicable law.

You always have the option not to provide information by choosing not to use a particular service or feature. If you receive a call or email from any person claiming to represent us and asking for your debit/credit card PIN, net-banking or mobile-banking password, never share it, and report it immediately to the appropriate law enforcement agency.

We use personal data to provide the services you request — processing scholarship applications and payments, verifying documents, communicating application status, resolving disputes, troubleshooting problems, detecting and protecting against error and fraud, enforcing our terms, and conducting research and impact analysis. Where we use your personal data for marketing, we provide you the ability to opt out.

We may share your personal data internally within our group entities and affiliates to give you access to our services. We may disclose personal data to third-party service providers such as payment gateways, banks and technology partners strictly to deliver the services you requested and comply with legal obligations. We may disclose personal and sensitive personal data to government agencies or law enforcement where required by law or in good-faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary.

To protect your personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure, loss or misuse, we adopt reasonable security practices and procedures, and offer the use of a secure server.
